small room with a dolls house
and an old chest full of dolls and
play toys.

But these dolls play host to the
spirits of young children who once
lived in the orphange that once
stood there. They will talk only to
Emily and are keen to become
part of her life.

The refurbishment begins. Small
tasks are completed, unseen. But
as the costs begin to over run, the
arguments start and one of the
dolls is crushed in an accident.
Then the 'incidents' begin...

Ian Faulkner is fascinated with the
darker side of humanity and life,
as is self evident from his work.

He says "...when one has light,
inevitably that illumination casts
shadows. And what's lurking
within those dark depths frighten
us.

He began writing in the late 90's
as a cathartic exercise after the
death of his baby son. His work
has been published several times
in the award winning All-Hallows
and recently won a mention in
The Years Best Fantasy & Horror 17.

Although born in the UK, Ian is an
American and currently lives in
Dallas, Texas.

None So Blind is Ian's first book and
contains seven deliciously dark
tales that peel back the layers to
reveal man's real evil.

The small Australian tourist location,
Hayman Island, is plagued by the
returning crustaceans.

Professor Cliff Davenport also
returns to battle with his nemesis,
King Crab and this time he is
joined by Klin (a tough fisherman
on the island), Shannon (the chief
shark-patrol officer), and Harvey
Logan (a professional hunter intent
on keeping one of the crabs as a
trophy).
